We’re less than two weeks away from the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but you can make the wait easier (or maybe actually harder Come from Sports betting site VPbet?) by picking up the special-edition Switch OLED that launched April 28. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-themed Switch OLED console is available now at major retailers for $360. It’s somewhat surprising that the console did not sell out during its preorder phase, but that’s good news for those who were still deciding whether they wanted it or not.

That said, the special-edition console will sell out eventually–that’s just the nature of special-edition consoles in general. Other special-edition Switch OLED consoles now cost more than retail price on the secondary market, so you definitely don’t want to wait too long. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the console sell out near the launch of the game. The console has been going in and out of stock since Friday. Here’s everywhere you can buy the special-edition Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED:

In Ireland and the government of Prime Minister Micheal Martin is reportedly preparing to propose wide-ranging legislation that would largely ban complimentary bets and establish a new regulator to oversee the nation’s gambling landscape.

According to a Tuesday report from The Irish Times newspaper, the move follows an August deal that saw the country’s online and retail bookmakers agree to stop accepting credit card wagers and accept a limited ban on advertising during live sporting events.

Decisive duo:

The newspaper reported that the coming measures are the brainchild of James Browne, Ireland’s Minister of State at the Department of Justice, and his compatriot at the Department of Justice, Heather Humphreys, and are to also include a partial prohibition on inducements and VIP treatment for certain gamblers.

Minor matters:

Ireland is home to slightly over five million people while the coming legislation is to moreover reportedly seek to clamp down even more on advertising by having the coming regulator issue an associated code of conduct regarding when and how frequently such spots can be aired across domestic television,…

In a decisive move to address fiscal challenges, Nebraska could see an item on the November ballot to legalize online sports betting following Governor Jim Pillen’s announcement. The governor highlighted the significant untapped revenue currently lost to neighboring states due to unregulated online gambling. “Online sports betting is real and it’s happening in the state,” Governor Pillen stated. “Whoever wants to do it is doing it, and we’re giving all the revenue to our neighbors.”

Impetus for early legislation:

A market study from GeoComply underscores the urgency of this legislative action, recording over 2 million blocked online sports bets in Nebraska in the first half of the year alone. To capture this lost revenue sooner, Senator Eliot Bostar introduced a constitutional amendment during a special legislative session. If passed, this could expedite the legalization and taxation of online sports betting by two years, potentially by November 2024, instead of waiting until 2026.

According to Lynne McNally of WarHorse Casino and the Nebraska Horsemen, not acting swiftly on this initiative could…

Remedy has previously said that Alan Wake 2 will release sometime this year, but it looks like Alan Wake himself may have let the cat out of the bag. The voice actor for the eponymous protagonist is Matthew Poretta and, appearing on the Monsters, Madness, and Magic podcast (thanks IGN), dated the game as coming out this October.

“I’ve been working on [Alan Wake 2],” said Porretta. “That’s supposed to come out in October. We’re in the middle of working on it now. In fact, I was just in Finland last week, that’s where the company is from… Remedy, amazing people.”

I’ve contacted Remedy to ask for comment and will update with any response. It is of course important to remember that Porretta is outside talent and is not speaking on the studio’s behalf, so this may well be an old date or inaccurate. But hell, the guy is Alan Wake so you’d think he might have some idea.

Poretta also had a neat memory of scoring the role after he’d forgotten about the audition. “So I went and auditioned for this job 13 years ago, in fact it was Alan Wake’s birthday on Sunday […] six months later my agent called me up and was like ‘hey you know that videogame you went in on’?…

With Diablo 4 now less than a month away—June 6 is the big day—Blizzard has unveiled the details on its post-launch plans, including its seasonal structure, cosmetic microtransactions, and the “completely optional” battle pass.

Diablo 4 will have four seasons per year, each running roughly three months and featuring its own unique “season journey.” Seasons will not expand upon the story of the campaign—that will happen in future expansions, so I guess you can consider Diablo 4 expansion plans confirmed—but will instead offer standalone seasonal questlines with their own “self-contained stories” featuring new characters and narratives.

“Ideas around the seasons are not bound by the campaign,” Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson said during today’s developer stream.

Along with the new story content, seasons will also feature “fresh gameplay,” associate game director Joe Piepiora said.

“We want to introduce new mechanics and gameplay for players to engage with over the course of that season. This comes down to things like new power for players to earn, or ways to experience the growth of their character,” Piepiora explained. “t…
